7 Questions #6

So my blogging schedule is completely off this week thanks to Memorial Day giving way to a Tuesday post. Oh well, it's Wednesday! We've got 2 more (long) days until the party starts. In the mean time, I'll give you this weeks Seven Questions with Gentri Lee!

If you were to start your own business, what would it be?
MBFF and I were talking about this last Sunday. In order to make money you need to invent/market/sell something that permits the masses to be lazy. People will pay out the ass for something that offers convenience.

You wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Do you embrace your grumpiness or try to fight it?
It depends. If I'm pissy for no reason it usually stays with me through the entire day because everything seems to be following Murphy's Law. Sometimes it will disipate as the day goes on.

What's the very first memory you have?
My first memory that I have w/o the aid of a picture/someone telling me.... swallowing a penny and playing boxing on Atari in the basement.

The world is ending, what do you do? Allow yourself to die? Fight? Hide? Etc.
Hmm. Is it ending because of the Zombie apocolypse? Because then I'd probably just hide and cry and swim to Europe. Zombies can't swim right? Yes, I'd rather be eaten by a shark than a zombie. Zombies are trying to steal my smarts, whereas a shark just needs a meal. I'm more apt to help the needy.

What is your favorite meal of the day?
Meal or meal time? I also think this question is unfair. The thought of food goes through my mind as often as males supposedly think about sex. I ♥ food. Anytime. I'm in lust with breakfast. It's good all day. Especially for dinner.  But I love burgers and steak. I can tell you one thing, deciding what I want is the hardest decision I make all day.

How do you learn best? Visual? Listening? Hands on?
I'd say a combination of all 3. I learn super fast when it's hands on but I can learn by listening if I'm already remotely familiar with the subject. Visual is also easy. I refuse to use a GPS so all my driving shortcuts and ways to get from A to B are visual.

What is your favorite joke?
I don't think I have a favorite joke.  I suppose I should learn one. You know, that one good joke that will break the ice and ease tension. Maybe I should learn two... just to be safe. Any suggestions?

  1. Great answers and I'm really with you on the food ;-)

As to a favourite joke - here's a funny fact if you don't mind morbid humour.

There was a Prime Minister of Australia, Harold Holt, who went for a swim in the ocean and was never seen again. The Aussie government built a memorial for him in Melbourne....

... the memorial was a municipal swimming pool lol.

Very cute. I could eat burgers or steak for any meal of the day, especially when I'm hungover.

  3. It's good to have an ice breaking joke, but I don't have any either. So, I can't really help there :( You need to just combine meals, like brunch and brinner. It's breakfast and dinner.

  4. Did you swallow a penny WHILE playing Atari?  Because that's pretty blood impressive!

  5. I need some jokes too! I can't make decisions on what to eat either because I'm always thinking about food too... breakfast for dinner always seems to be a good choice :) or burritos... nachos... pasta... pizza...

  6. Paying out the ass has got to be the laziest way to do anything, so you may be on to something there. Also, I liked that photo thing so much that I was considering making a list for June or August...if I did would you want to participate?

  7. My God, I love breakfast. Any time any place, yes to breakfast.

Also, I don't like that first memory question because I don't know what mine is. I struggle with thinking back, or something.

  8. "Zombies are trying to steal my smarts, whereas a shark just needs a meal. I'm more apt to help the needy."

  9. I'm with you on breakfast. I love all breakfast food. Especially the chocolate mousse muffin I had this morning.
