And Then They Said I Do

On Saturday my 22 year old cousin got married.

Am I envious that I'm 5 years older and still not engaged?

Hell no! He just threw his life away!

I kid, I kid.

Seriously though, I'm super excited for them. There's no green diva here. Wedded bliss is in my future but I've got things to tackle first.

The wedding was held outside, which in Georgia is a guarantee of humidity and sweat. And sweat we did. It was during the evening, and it poured before the service, so that helped a little. The venue, Tryphena's Garden, was beyond  gorgeous. I checked it out weeks ago online and I knew immediately that it was going to be a beautiful occasion. I told Boyfriend right away that he better be up for taking lots of pictures. Can you say photoshoot!? Admittedly, I was having a girl moment and want lots of pictures that I can frame.

Sometimes I really feel that a picture is worth a thousand words and for that reason, I'll let my pictures tell the story.

Cutest wedding favor ever! Salt & Pepper shakers for their initials.
And they're off...

And one of the best parts? My cousin caught the bouquet!

Wedding fun aside it was a great weekend. All of my family loved Boyfriend, not that I was worried but they really liked him. So that was nice. I hung out with all my cousins,  laughed, drank, and just had a great time.

I need to try to get down there more often. I think a once a year trip is reasonable. Two of my cousins are planning a trip to NY next March so I'm really looking forward to that. It'll be the first time they've been here as adults. Needless to say, it will be a blast.

  1. Sounds like some sweet family memories were made this weekend. The wedding looks lovely. Glad you enjoyed your time!

  2. Beautiful wedding! What a cake!

  3. CUTE! Now I'm craving some pool time. damn you, new england.
