7 Questions #24

After yesterday's heart attack I'm finally posting my responses to the 7 Questions Link Up.

Describe your perfect day.
Beach. Sun. Sand. Beer.

What was something that you were afraid of as a child?
The dark. Damn that show Are You Afraid of the Dark? Yes! Yes I was!

What’s something you’re afraid of today?
As irrational as it is, Zombies. Seriously, they’re my worst nightmare. However I can’t wait to get home tonight and watch The Walking Dead.

My true fear? Failure.

Would you rather be obsessed with yourself or someone else?
I’ll be obsessed with you if you’ll be obsessed with me! Deal?

What is a favorite restaurant that you could visit over and over and never get sick of?
Hmm… I guess I don’t have a favorite. But cuisine wise, if it has Italian food it’s a favorite. I’m a sucker for that cheesy goodness.

What is one food you used to hate but now enjoy?
Ha! One? No, no. Sorry. You guys ready for this?
Green beans, mushrooms, red meat, cauliflower, beans of any kind, red onions (still working on this), calamari, peppers. The sad thing is I only really started eating any of these things sometimes when I was 21.

Fill in the blank. Star ______.
POWER!

  1. I can't really think of any foods I really enjoyed that I no longer do. I know that we tend to grow out of foods, or our stomachs just can't handle them anymore, but it's yet to really happen to me. Or I'm ignorant.

  2. I'm scared of zombies too!!! I hate watching zombie horror flicks, because it could happen someday....I'd rather watch stuff about vampires. I had a list of foods too, but I figured spinach was an easy one :)

  5. I love calamari! We had it a whole bunch when I was a kid before I knew what it was, and by the time I found out I was already so in love with it that I couldn't just stop eating it haha. I'm glad you came around to the good side ; ]

  9. I'm still working on red onions toooooo! Why do they have to be so strong? Had some on my breakfast sandwich today and I'm STILL fighting the awful taste in my mouth. Hated mushrooms growing up—now I love them. But the biggest one for me was tomatoes. Holy crap. I went from thinking they were the GROSSEST THINGS ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH to thinking they were (seriously) the best thing on the planet. I used to GAG when I ate them. Then I tasted a fresh tomato (as opposed to a week-old one from Florida or Mexico or wherever the hell else they grow those alien "tomatoes") and realized I'd really never eaten a tomato before.

    The end. Good story, Nicki.
