7 Questions Swan Song

That's right. It's time to say goodbye..... to 7 Questions.

Gentri Lee, the host of 7 Questions is retiring the link-up. I'm sad to see it go but she expressed that she wants to take her blog in a new direction, and who can hate on that? She mentioned she'll still do it for holidays or special occasions though, so it's not completely gone!

This prompt was from 3 weeks ago but since Halloween falls on a Wednesday, and it's the last one.... It's very fitting. And I'm OCD like that.

So this week will be the last. But don't worry. There are plenty of link-ups out there. Do you have a favorite you participate in?

Do you believe in ghosts?
Not at all. This is the one occasion where I truly feel, "I'll believe it when I see it".

Do you prefer the cute or scary Halloween?
Scary. Isn't that the whole point?

How old were you when you stopped trick-or-treating?
Probably 12 or 13? It just became very lame and I ran out of things to be. I've been everything.

Do you have any fun Halloween traditions?
If you count carving a pumpkin and eating Pumpkin Delights and candy corn then yes, yes I do.

Share a scary local urban legend.
NJ has so many urban legends that I can't even type them. Feel free to visit Weird NJ
For one, Jimmy Hoffa is said to be buried beneath the Pulaski Skyway (one of my favorite bridges fyi)

Would you rather be haunted or haunting?
It depends. If I'm being haunted by Sir Nicholas from Hogwarts, then I'm all for it. Otherwise I'll do the haunting, thank you.

What's your favorite Halloween character/creature? (Dracula, ghost, witch, etc.)
Probably Dracula. He's the ultimate lover. As for being scary.... Jason. And Freddy I guess.

Happy Halloween!!

  1. Sir Nicholas! :)

I'd probably be the worst at haunting though, to be honest. It'd go a little like, "BOO! JAYKAY GIRL. It's just me!"

I don't usually do link-ups so I can't help you there, but hopefully you find some fun things.

  2. Dracula is pretty awesome. It's sad to see the questions go :( I didn't do them myself but I really enjoyed learning about people through them.

  3. Same here. I'd do my own but then I'd just feel as if I was copying.

  4. I'd definitely spend some time haunting people who, umm, deserved it, first.

  5. I don't believe in ghosts, but I get creeped out SO EASILY. So...I guess...I'm OPEN to the possibility of ghosts? My mind isn't ready to rule them out, no matter how hard I protest? Or maybe I'm just naturally skittish. I mean, I jump when anyone walks in the room. Even when I know they're there. Even if they say "Nicki" before they do it.

Survival instinct? That's what I'm going with. Much cooler than saying "coward."
