Love in Lace

Happy Monday loves!

I hope you all had good fun-filled weekends. I did way more shopping than I intended but I'm happy with my purchases and for the 2nd time this year - no buyer's remorse. That's a huge step for me!

I went to the gym Saturday morning which felt awesome. I'm not going the days/times that I would prefer because of school but I'm making time in my schedule and I feel good. That's what counts.

I went to Old Navy even though we're no longer friends and I bought a pair of compression pants.

AND I LOVE THEM.

Excuse the disaster that was my room. I was mid-clean.
Seriously - how have I not bought these already. They fit like a dream and my butt? Oh it's lookin' good! I can't wait to wear them to the gym tonight.

My next stop was TJM for a new gym tank but like an ass I headed straight for shoes. I'm hit or miss with TJM shoes. Either I see something in my size that I love and it doesn't fit, or I just don't find anything. Ok, so I guess it's usually miss or miss. But this time, I found a great pair of shoes. And what sealed the deal? $29!

I was also walking around with a pair of black Converse in my size but was so on the fence about them I ultimately put them back.

I then had every intention of going to Party City to finish off the accessories for my SPD outfit but like a moth to a flame I went straight into Marshall's Shoes. It's like being sucked into a black hole. I genuinely walked in there for no reason and with no plan/reason/idea to buy. But I hit the jackpot.

I found a set of 5lb weights for $12.99; a 1/4" thick yoga mat with a carrying strap for $12.99 and a pair of navy Converse in size 9 for $24.99.

I've had a crush on Converse shoes for a while but I feel like they make my feet look ginormous. Certain shoes just lose their pretty factor in a size 10. But these are a 9 and they fit comfortably and I feel good about them.

I did finally make it to Party City and got the finishing touches for my SPD outfit. I'm so excited for it. Gotta love re-purposing a Halloween costume.

  5. I think you should have considering buying gym shoes, I don't think you can run much in those things. But it's awesome you're still doing the gym stuff and you should treat yourself every now and again.

  6. What a productive weekend! I've never tried old navy work out clothes but now I'm intrigued! Those heels are so hot, that was such a good purchase. I don't really do sneakers for the pure reason I think they just make my feet look funny (even though I have small feet, I'm wide width). But I do have to say, converse are about as comfortable as it gets!!

  7. I love those pants! I have never tried Old Navy work out clothes, but you have me sold. I've been pretty good about working out lately, I probably deserve new work out pants, right??

P.S. Buyer's Remorse is the worst. I am glad none of that was going on.
