When I Grow Up

What up peeps?

At 28 years old society says I'm "grown up". Personally, I haven't felt grown up since.... well, 10 years ago. 10 years ago I moved to my 1st apartment. I had rent and utilities to pay for. I had car isnurance and "adult" responsibilities. You know, like buying my own food.

Here we are 10 years later and I feel nothing like an adult. Maybe someday I'll grow up. And when I do, these are my plans:

When I grow up....

I want to be a WILF

I'll have a spare bedroom designated as my own personal dressing room

I want to be a National Park ranger so I can always be outside

I plan to live in something close to this
I want to have a kitchen big enough to host a baseball team

I'll forgo my amazeballs house and just live in the pool house

I hope that Pinterest has become virtual so that when I pin something it "pins" into my real life

Calories will be extinct

Teleportation will be the only mode of transportation
(I really am hoping for this some day)

I'll own eleventy thousand pairs of shoes and they'll all fit like a dream

My daughter will be given a male name - like mine.

I will tour Europe for months at a time

I will spend my winters in the Caribbean

I'll have another puppy-love of my life

What are you hoping for when you grow up?

Two Thirds Hazel

  1. "Real life" Pinterest would be AMAZING! Pair it with the fact that calories will be extinct and there will be no need for restaurants!

  2. I just can't wait for my crankiness to be natural as I'm already a cranky old man. I also can't wait until I'm thought of being as being "eccentric" and not "weird". That can come with either age or riches so it's gotta happen eventually.

  3. A virtual Pinterest now THAT would be something! That house with the pool is gorge. I die.

  4. pool house and closet full of shoes are a must!
    Stop by some time

  5. I want all that. Oh yeah already have the daughter with the male name. LUB

  6. We were just talking about wanting to have a wrap around porch later in life! I love your name, so I would totally give your daughter a cool name too. My mom's name is Jerri, and I always liked that!

  7. I'm completely in love with your weimeraner! I want one! Love this post...especially the Pinterest one!

  8. I want to have big-girl clothes, travel a lot, and have a pony. Maybe a sparkly pink pony. That's not too much to ask, right?
