Clear as Glass

I was sent these Wine Glasses for the purpose of this review, but all opinions are my own.

You know those days where everything goes wrong? Butter fingers, tripping over my own feet, spilling things... it's been a stressful day. Days like that can only be cured with one thing.

Wine.

We all know it's a great way to wind down. It's great for day drinking. It's great when you want to appear classy but in reality want to drink your face off. The point is, wine is great and we all love it. So when Wine Enthusiast contacted me about receiving a set of their glasses, I was all for it. If I get new glasses, then I need new wine. It's infallible logic.

So when this box showed up I couldn't wait to head to my local store and stock up. The first thing I noticed was that these glasses are indoor/outdoor. Aren't they all? Well, these glasses are different. They're made of a special material called Eastman Tritan copolyester (BPA-free and FDA approved) which makes them shatterproof. Ahh, outdoor. Makes sense now.

Of course I had to bang the glass on the table to check. I didn't put too much strength into it but it was still nice to know that I wouldn't be crying over spilled wine a broken wine glass.

These glasses are perfect for me because the glasses I do have are very small. These hold a full 12 oz. These indoor/outdoor Chardonnay glasses are so clear I would have mistook them for glass had I not picked up the box. I have used these glasses every night since I opened them. I even added my wine glass charms. They're light weight, I don't worry about dropping them, they wash easy (no dulling), and they dry spot free.

If Chardonnay isn't your thing Wine Enthusiast also offers Cabernet/Merlot, Stemless, champagne flute, and Pinot Noir glasses, among others. They also offer personalized glasses, which would be perfect as a gift.

  1. I can't believe these are plastic! They have that crystal clear quality that glass has, but plastic never really does.
