Funding a Kickstarter Project: A Review

This post was sponsored by All opinions are my own.

Several weeks ago I was given the opportunity to read and review the book "How to Raise Big Bucks in 30 Days (Secrets to Running a Successful Crowd Funding Campaign on a Budget)".

What the hell does that mean?!  Well for anyone who starts or creates a project and is looking to help publicly fund it, this book is helpful. I'm guessing most of you have heard of Kickstarter? Well this book will give you tips and tricks on how to get your Kickstarter project funded and make it a success.

I think this is a great guide if you're looking to start a project (art, music, services, etc.) and need funding. As a blogger, I see Kickstarter more and more. People want to get their books or music out there and published and going the traditional route is not always successful.

I liked how this book gives examples and tips on how to make your project a success. However, if it's not, there is a chapter on how to relaunch a failed campaign. A lot of the information may seem obvious but if you're going about it at the wrong time or place, it doesn't work. The book also gives a list of crowd-funding sites do you're not limited to just one site to promote your project.

If you have a new project that you're looking to create and aren't sure how to go about it, this book will help get you started in the right direction.
