Arrested Developments

Alright, it's time. Shall we talk about the Halloween party I went to last weekend with my parents?

A few posts ago I asked what you guys thought I was going to be. I got a lot of votes for a pirate. Wrongo!

K is sorry for the blur. Trust me, he's sorry...

Mom looked awesome as a flapper from the 20s.

You have the right to give me your organs
Remember back when I posted about how K doesn't want to be an organ donor? Well, on Saturday he had no choice. Talk about a photo opportunity! He was a good sport but didn't find it as funny as my mom and I did.

Yours truly won the award for sexiest costume. K and I tied with my parents for best couple. Seriously, can we say success?!

Aside from the party I hung out with Little Miss all weekend. She walks and talks and is so damn smart. It just blows my mind every time I see her. Her vocab has been extended to include outside, papa, I here, yellow, crazy, hi, bye, butterfly and pizza. It's the coolest thing ever.

I gave her a highlighter and paper this weekend and started teaching her to doodle. She loved it. We traced her feet and hands and the coolest thing was that she sat there patiently watching me do it.

My new favorite picture of us
How was your weekend!?

  1. Yayyy on winning the costume contests!!

Little kiddies are amazing, they grow and learn so fast. I love that picture of you guys too!

  2. Yay for the win! And lucky you- Clay is super ticklish and goes into hysterics anytime I try to trace a hand or a foot.

  3. Oh heyyyy you sexpot you. Way to rock it!

  4. Sounds like a great weekend.
My weekend was filled with work and spending time with my little ones. No parties for me :-)
You should definitely keep the tracing of her tiny hand! My kids love comparing their hands then and now.

  5. Damn girl youse a sexy cop! Very nice!
