November Goals

Can you believe it's the start of November already?! I'm still adjusting to being back in school and in another 6 weeks the semester is over. Time is flying and yes, I hate it.

What I don't hate is that it's my birthday month. Boom! 29, I'm coming for you!

Last month I created a short list of goals and I found that stuck to most of them. I'm going to go for broke and try the same thing this month. Here's a look at what's on the agenda:

Go to the gym
I tend to be overzealous in this quest. Going 3x a week should be cake, but for a gym hater like me, it's sooo annoying. This month I just need to get there. It can be once, it can be 6 times. I just need to get in the building. Sad, I know.

Continue saving for Christmas
This one is a carry over but is still important.

Make one eMeals recipe a week
Forever and a day ago I was given the opportunity to try out eMeals for a full year. If you don't know it's a meal plan service.

I've made a few of the meals and they came out really good. I've been saving each week's menu in a folder since I started getting them. Now I've got a great little cookbook of portion control, low fat and low carb meals.

Do NOT touch my savings, no matter what
I'm the absolute worst when it comes to saving money. I mean W o r s t. It's the one flaw I absolutely hate about myself. I'm vowing to leave my savings account untouched for the next 30 days.

Finish a book
Since school started I've been severely slacking on my reading. I'm planning to get through one new book this month. Or maybe I should work on finishing the 4 books I'm somewhere in the middle of?

What are you looking forward to in November?

  1. I want to say that you know your reading is getting bad when you hope to finish one book in a month, but I can't remember the last time I really read a story. It's all that writing if you ask me.

  2. 29??? You babies make me sick. :) Happy early birthday! My November goal is to not lose my mind. Life is WAY too busy and I desperately need balance!

  3. Love your goals! I am on board to not touch savings! I am soooo bad at that, and graduating college finally is setting in...which means savings is becoming vital to my survival!

  4. Happy early birthday! Great goals- I need to save this month, but it's going to be hard because I have a work conference in Cali and I want to see allthethings! I'm also behind with reading. I think it's because I haven't been really exciting about any one book, but I just got Insurgent yesterday (see? so behind), and I can't wait to start it!
