It's Time

We've finally arrived at Christmas Eve eve! I hope you've all finished your shopping and wrapping. I for one am ready for it all to come and really, just go. This holiday didn't go as planned, but that's neither here nor there right now.

I cleaned the fish tank yesterday and I can't get over how big this damn fish has gotten since I bought him. He was so small. Like, size of my thumb small. Now he's this massive thing that eats like a horse.

Among all the nothing I did yesterday, I was sitting around watching movies, and really just trying to get everything off my DVR when a commercial caught my ear. Have you guys seen this holiday commercial from Apple?

Seriously. I started crying when I watched it. It's just so simple and sweet and it found my heart strings and pulled oh so tight. Damn you Apple.

My gifts are wrapped, my bags are packed and I am so ready to get out of town for the week. Tonight after work I'm heading upstate for the rest of the week. And then I have a blate with Setarra and company. Seriously can't wait.

As an FYI, I'm taking one last blogging break for 2013. I'll be back next Monday with a recap of the festivities and a recap of the year.

  1. I hope you can have yourself a merry little Christmas Michael. There should be some fun involved, no matter how minor it might be.

  3. We FINALLY finished our Christmas shopping on Saturday!! I've never been this last minute with my gifts... I blame it on my baby's first birthday. Definitely threw me for a loop this year!

  6. Serious question: Your fishy will continue to grow as big as your tank right? I heard that somewhere.

    Merry Christmas! xo
