Hey y'all. Talk about showing up late to class. I'm not going to name names,  but someone took a personal day, didn't have a post scheduled, slept until 9 and watched the Braxton family go all out on Bethany this morning.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that's it already February. I can't even. So umm, how 'bout that Super Bowl?

Aside from the obvious insanity of that score (43-8, what?!) I was so disappointed with the commercials. They were just terrible. I was looking forward to the Cheerios and Budweiser commercials and fortunately they weren't a let down. The Budweiser one almost made me cry (damn puppies) and the Cheerios one cracked me up.

I'm just going to say it: most boring super bowl EVER! I was torn by the fact that I wanted the Broncos to win because if my Mann(ing) couldn't be in it to win it, then I was just going to keep it in the family. However, I would have been, and was, ok with the Seahawks winning as it would be their first win.

And that's all I have to say about that! I'm off to take online tests, clean the house, workout and then generally be lazy for the rest of the day. #win

  1. It would have been more interesting if it had snowed!! I loved the Cheerios and Budweiser ads, but I didn't mind David Beckham in his underwear one little bit either!

  2. I am an avid Seahawks fan and...Woo Hoo they won! Poor Manning though. I know everyone expected a lot more from him, but when his team isn't doing so great, it's hard for just one person to carry the team. And being that I'm from the great state of Washington, I kinda knew what the Hawks were going to do this game...keep it simple and ignore Manning.
Well anyway, hope you have a great Monday!

  3. I loved that Budweiser commercial! Other than that the rest of the Super Bowl I could care less.

  4. Well due to my most painful of inflictions (being British) I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I did read about the score though and some other fun things. I also watched some of the commercials and they seemed pretty fun.
