Out Like a Lamb {March Goals Recap}

Another month of 2014 never to be seen again. I still can't get over the fact that we're 1/4 of the way through the year. I feel like we were just ringing in the new year, and yet, where the french toast is summer!?

For March, I kept the goals simple. It should have been a slam dunk.

Cross off on item on my 101 in 1001 list
If I wanted to cheat, technically I did this. My fitness goal of creating and sticking to a workout routine for 30 days was crossed off on march 1st. Otherwise, I didn't do one thing.

Be on time
Yeah, I failed at this. I suck. I've always been bad at time management, which is just horrible. If I ever have a mini-me I'm going to try really hard to instill punctuality in them.

Save, Save Save
This was a fail because I was tossed on my butt with unexpected car repairs.

It looks like March was a wash in the goal department. On the plus side, my taxes are ready to be filed but since I'm not getting any of it back, they're getting e-filed on the 15th. I took the car to the garage on Friday to have the radiator replaced. Fingers, toes, and any other body parts you want to cross that that's the only problem and I can be a driver again next month. These past 30 days without a car have been kind of rough.

How'd you do this month? Are you finding it harder to set goals?

  1. The same thing happened to me, but even though I didn't necessarily accomplish everything I set out to, I did get some things done that I hadn't planned. Hope this month goes better for you!

  2. I've not set any goals, I just tend to hope. Of course I'd be more efficient if I did set goals. I find scheduling really helps. You got knocked on your ass a little but it's a whole new month and you can do better this time round.

  3. Don't look at them as failures! Just focus on why you didn't accomplish your goals and what you can focus on next time!
