It's A Wash | May Recap

I tried to set myself up for success this month and gave myself some pretty easily attainable goals. Unfortunately, life happens when we make other plans.

Lose 5 pounds
Ugh. Just ugh. This month was not my fitness friend. I lost my mojo and my clean eating fell of the track. I got bored in my workout so I wasn't even trying. Needless to say, this didn't happen.

Blog better
I think I've done pretty well about getting back into the swing of things around here. School definitely takes its toll towards the end of the semester and blogging had to be on the back burner. I did a lot of catching up on reading over the past week or so, and I've been drafting like crazy.

Purge closets
This was a major win. I went through all of my summer clothes and pulled out anything that I just don't wear, doesn't fit, or didn't wear in the past year. It's all bagged up and ready to go to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. On top of that I got rid of other things (planting pots, movies, shelves) that were taking up space.

New sneakers
I can't believe I actually did this... but I actually did this! I finally bought new sneakers. I've been slacking on this for about a year and a half which is just horrible. I was in Marshalls a few weeks ago and saw these babies and just had to have them. They fit great and they're bright and obnoxious - sold!

I'll consider May a win at 75%. I think what helped me out this month was that I wrote my 4 goals at the top of every week in my planner. They were constantly visible and therefore always in my thoughts.
