Playing Tourist

You know those weekends you have where you do absolutely nothing? You know, the rare and super awesome ones? I just had one of those. And since I'm still dusting the cobwebs from my brain, this post is what it is.

This lovely happening woke me up at 6:30 on Saturday. Thanks Roxie.

After some scrolling through Insta I decided to join in on the #bloggersgetsocial photo fun.

The dining room is finished. Which is nice, one room done, 6 to go.

Yes, I hate that upholstery too.
And because we like to make time for fun, K and I paused to play a nail-biting game of Jenga, which I lost, and Simon.

Sunday was a little more adventurous. One of my forever friends came down to visit for the day with her mom and sister, so we found ourselves walking around the city.

It was a gorgeous, albeit windy, day and we found ourselves down on Canal street buying cheap gloves and in Little Italy having an amazing lunch and getting delicious treats, bra shopping in Macy's {side note: my bras were on sale for $12.99 instead of $38. I basically got 3 for 1... STEAL!} and hitting M&M World.

For the first time in a long time I feel like I'm ready to take on Monday.
