Sunday Sweats Vol. 5

You guys, this week was a killer. And not in a good way. I missed my 10k step minimum three times this week. I increased my daily goal to 10,500 so I obviously missed that as well. 

Sun. 5/31
Mom and I went for a walk in the morning and I made half my step goal. It required pacing around the living room {the treadmill stopped working} but I made my goal for the day{10,072}.

Mon. 6/1: Gym
I really didn't want to go to the gym today. I really wanted to stay home and sleep. I went anyway. I did 210 on leg press {PR} but then I kind of breezed through the rest of my activities. This weather... blah.

Tue. 6/2: Yoga {30m}
Today was my first "fail" since I've started. I kept hitting snooze this morning and had no intention of going for a walk. I say it al the time and it bears repeating; if it's under 75 I consider it cold. So this low 50s we've had all week isn't working for me. Add that the treadmill stopped working last week and I barely got my steps in. I did however do some restorative flow when I got home from work.

Wed. 6/3: Gym
I hit the gym in the morning and skipped my usual squats and deadlifts routine and did the stairmaster, back extensions, seated row, lateral dumbbell raises super set with bicep curls, and knee lifts. I've decided I need to ramp up my cardio since I was basically skipping it. 

Thur. 6/4:
Unfortunately I didn't write down anything for today so I'm reluctant to say I did anything. I know I walked around during lunch, but that's about it. 

Fri. 6/5: Walk
This was the first time I've bailed on the gym. I was up at 5:30 and dressed to go but nothing else was ready so instead of leaving the house at 6:30 {way late} I unpacked my work clothes and headed outside for a walk. Not ideal but better than nothing.

Sat. 6/6: Rest
I was lazy today too... mostly. I did some errands/walking around and when I got back walked to the bank since I forgot to stop. Then I walked tot he store to pick up some cat food. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have done any meaningful activity yesterday. Hopefully it's just the fuse on the treadmill.
