Last week I admitted that I bought and Erin Condren Life Planner. Typically I would never spend this amount of money on a planner and if my Mom knew how much it was... let's just say I can hear the 2-name call and I can see the O_O look already.
Here's the thing - I don't leave the house without my planner. I use it errry damn day and I am a complete loser for office supplies. Not to mention, I deserve pretty things if I want them. And ohmygoditssopretty!
I'm a big fan of aesthetics so I was really pleased just by all the fun, bright colors everything was in.
As for the planner itself...
I'll be 100% honest with you guys, I was really disappointed with the cover. I opted for fuchsia as my accent and "rosewood" as my primary. Online "rosewood" looks more gray and I thought that would look excellent with the accent color. It turns out rosewood is more muted pink. On the upside, I can always order a new cover if I want.
In comparison to my previous planner, here's what it looks like.
I love that the monthly calendar boxes are so big because it makes it a lot easier to read/write everything. Plus, room for stickers!
The planner itself is as pretty as I expected it to be. Every single page is fun and colorful. I really love that there are tabs for each month. For me, that just makes things easier. Each tab also has an inspirational quote.
I was really torn between the vertical and horizontal views and ultimately opted for horizontal because I tend to write a lot and I knew the weekly squares might not be enough for me.
As lame as it sounds I don't even want to write in it yet. It's so fresh and clean and perfect.
Here's a complete picture of the goodies.
2016 is already slated to be full of new adventures which I'm super excited about. My only regret with this planner? Not spending the extra $5 to add in the remaining months of 2015. I hate when planners do that... but I really want to start using it already!
